Stanisław Sojka- jazz singer, pianist, composer. Born in 1959. in Żory.  Polish jazz and pop singer, pianist, guitarist, violinist, composer. He begins his musical path as a soprano in the cathedral choir in Gliwice. He is graduating from the Secondary Music School in Katowice and the department of arrangement and composition at the Katowice Academy of Music. He made his debut in November 1978 with a recital at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw as part of the "Jazz in the Philharmonic" series. Since the mid-1980s, the artist's more and more individual style has been revealed. He is departing from the American classics towards the Polish musical tradition.

 

His output includes over 40 albums, several of which have achieved multi-platinum editions, incl. "BLUBLULA",   "Mother who know us", "RCA Stanisław Sojka", "Radioactive", "Acoustic", "Sonnets Shakespeare", "Roman Triptych", "Only take ... Osiecka known and unknown "and" Music and words by Stanisław Soyka "nominated for Fryderyk 2020 Alternative Pop Album of the Year.
